I’m not hungry.  I’m not thirsty, either.  Like so many other things here, this doesn’t make sense.  I’ve been here for days, if the day/night cycle is to be believed, and I haven’t eaten or drunk a thing.  The very thought of eating and drinking makes me feel a little queasy.  Which is just as well, since there isn’t anything to eat or drink here.  There are no kitchens.  No sinks.  No refrigerators.  No food.  No water.  Nohing.  It also occurred to me that it’s awfully quiet here.  At home, there’s always noise.  There is the sound of the breeze rustling the trees - but there’s no breeze.  There are insects from time to time.  But I haven’t seen or heard any.  There are birds.  But I haven’t seen or heard any of them...

You find an old book you encounter A something strange You find old documents about Aliens Okay, so I didn’t actually know that the hooded figures had killed the witch.  But that ceremony looked as though it had been a sacrifice.  Something to appease something or other. But what? I wandered into yet another of the dilapidated houses.  Like the others, it showed no sign of having people living in it.  (Goodness knows where the hooded figures lived.  I had tried following one of them after the sacrifice, but they had rounded a corner a couple of blocks away from the church and had vanished.  I had tried to follow, but it was clear that I was unable to go where they had gone.  It was like they had wandered into another plane of existence or something .  It was really bizarre.) I saw somebody else a little while ago.  I only saw them at a distance - they were wearing a long, hooded robe, and they were dragging something.  I followed the person, taking care not to catch up.  The thing that the person was dragging looked uncannily like the witch who had run away from me when I first arrived here. You whent to a party the night before and got really drunk. you wake up in the middle of a unknown road. 1 card: 9 Hearts.  I encounter a witch.  She runs away. The sun is shining brightly.  Too brightly.  My head feels like it is about to explode, and my stomach feels like somebody dropped a cannon ball into it.  I wish I had vomited it all up last night - it wouldn’t have been pretty, but at least I wouldn’t feel as crappy as I do now.
